For the year 2018, Officer Ben Jadoff has been selected as the Nags Head Police Department's Employee of the Year. Officer Jadoff began his Law Enforcement career with Nags Head in 2015, is a graduate of High Point University, and recently obtained his Intermediate Law Enforcement Certificate through North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Division.
Ben is a complete professional and an excellent example of what a police officer should be. He is an extremely well rounded officer who has gone from being a brand new officer, to someone who has a veteran officer skill set, in a very short amount of time.
In addition to his assigned role within the Patrol Division, Officer Jadoff's achievements over the course of the past year are numerous and varied, and show just how diverse an exceptional employee can be. From volunteering to work with elementary school children at events such as the annual NHES Bike Rodeo and Jamestown Settlement trip, to volunteering for extra assignments such as the Joint Area Tactical Team (JATAC) and TASER Instructor, Officer Jadoff is always willing to help.
Officer Ben Jadoff is an excellent example of what an officer should be, and he is an extremely valuable asset to our agency who deserves to be recognized as such. Congratulations Officer Jadoff on being chosen as the Employee of the Year for the Police Department.
Congratulations to Police Officer Christian Aguirre who recently completed the Traffic Enforcement & Investigation Certificate Program through the North Carolina Justice Academy. The Traffic Enforcement & Investigation Certificate Program is designed specifically for Police Officers who have a desire to increase their training experiences and credentials. Officers must complete a total of over 500 classroom hours, with the core classes being specific to Traffic Enforcement and Investigations. Congratulations Officer Aguirre!
